Welcome to zetalta!

zetalta is a platform for young builders aged 8–17 to share ideas, collaborate with other builders around the world, and apply for grants to bring their ideas to life. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. Please read them — we wrote them to be easy to understand.

1. Who can use zetalta

• You must be between 8 and 17 years old to create an account.
• If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must approve your account before you can post content.
• Mentors and educators may also create accounts with verified roles.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.

2. Your account

• Keep your password safe. Do not share it with anyone.
• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.
• Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
• One account per person — no shared or fake accounts.

3. What you can post

You can share your ideas, project updates, achievements, and messages in Forge rooms. All content must:

• Be your own original work or something you have permission to share.
• Be appropriate for all ages (8 and up).
• Be respectful to other builders.
• Not include personal information like your home address, phone number, or school name.

4. What you cannot post

• Anything mean, bullying, or designed to hurt someone.
• Adult or inappropriate content.
• Spam or repetitive messages.
• Other people's personal information without their permission.
• Content that promotes harmful activities.
• Anything illegal.

Our AI safety system (Zeta Guardian) automatically reviews all content before it goes live. We may also remove content that violates these rules after it is posted.

5. Gamification and rewards

zetalta uses XP points, badges, levels, and a Canvas Score to make building fun. These are virtual rewards inside zetalta — they have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Grant funding (through zetalta.orbit) is separate and subject to its own terms.

6. Grant applications

Grant applications are reviewed by zetalta administrators. Approval is not guaranteed. Grant amounts and terms are specified in each grant tier description. zetalta reserves the right to change grant programs at any time.

7. AI features

Zeta, our AI assistant, is powered by Claude (Anthropic). Zeta is here to help you brainstorm and improve your ideas. Do not share personal information with Zeta. Zeta's responses are AI-generated and may sometimes be incorrect — always think critically about what Zeta tells you.

8. Intellectual property

Your ideas are yours. When you post something on zetalta, you keep ownership of your content. You give zetalta a license to display it on the platform.

zetalta's design, code, and brand belong to zetalta. Please don't copy them without permission.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We will anonymize your personal information and remove your content from public view. Some records may be kept for legal compliance purposes. For users under 13, parents can also request deletion by emailing us.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. We will notify you by email and show a notice on the platform. Continuing to use zetalta after changes means you accept the new terms.
